Exodus 12:1-2 "You to begin your calander with this month ..."
(But when is this month?)

Ex 9:31-32 Says -"Now the flax and the barley were struck, for the barley (in its 2nd month of growth cycle - was in head) and the flax (in its 3rd month of growth cycle - was in bud. But the wheat and the spelt were not struck, for they are late crops(for barley it takes 60 days for it to head, and flax take 89 days for it to bud), winter wheat takes 5 months until harvest.

Old Egypt from October thru February is planting season, and from March (barley) thru May (wheat) is harvest season -before the nile over-flows each year between June and September.
